There’s definitely a sense that Sheffield is a city that’s not shy of speaking up for what we think is important. On this theme, I’m delighted to welcome speaker and author David Price to introduce us to Sheffield’s Troublemakers. He writes ‘Described as a ‘damned bad place’ by George III, Sheffield has long had a tradition of radical protest. In this talk, I describe how this radicalism originated and what forms it has taken over the years. ‘

Because of Bonfire Night, we’ve shifted this talk to the second Monday of the month.

Tickets: £6 (£5 for Friends of Sheffield Manor Lodge and Season Ticket Holders)
