Mr and Mrs Barnes are back with their festive wartime celebrations and they’ve invited a few friends along to help.

We have vintage bus rides (which you can take from the farm car park or cottages entrance), WW2 jeep, BBC correspondent and a whole host of reenactors. Rumour has it Mrs Christmas will also be chatting to visitors as her husband (and all the young men for that matter!) are off helping with the war effort.

There will be ration book Christmas cake, baked spuds and hot spiced apple crushing to help keep off the first winter chill and Grandma Barnes will be making cracker crafts to take home ready for Christmas dinner.

Don’t forget to stop by the wishing tree to make your Christmas wish.

There will also be a small stall section and tombola and just up the hill the artist studios will be open for you to meet some of Sheffield’s best crafts people, see them hard at work and maybe make some headway with your Christmas shopping.

Sadly this will be the last time the cottages building will open but we’ll be moving to a new cottage on the farm for summer 2019.
