History Talks 2

Sheffield Manor Lodge hosts a season of inspiring history talks by reputable and passionate speakers that aim to stir your interest in, often hidden, aspects of history. From local Sheffield stories to international momentous events, our history talks provide an insight into the past.

We’ve had lectures from knights in armour, heard intrigues about our very own royal prisoner, Mary Queen of Scots, discovered how Sheffield got its street names and even found about knickers (in a brief history)!

A season of inspiring history talks by reputable and passionate speakers to stir your interest in often hidden aspects of local and international history.
