Covid Safety - How we're keeping our site safe from 25th July
The safety of our visitors, volunteers and staff is our priority. While restrictions are easing, we know many are still concerned about the spread of Covid 19. We will continue to ask our visitors to follow a number of measures to ensure a visit to our site is safe and enjoyable for everyone.
Do not attend if you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid19. These are:
a high temperature
a new, continuous cough
a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
If you have booked tickets and experience symptoms then please contact us and we will exchange your ticket for a date once you are well again.
Booking your tickets in advance is recommended. This is important for children's craft activities where we will be using our indoor space once again. We will be limiting the number of entries per time slot to ensure there is space for everyone and ask that you only get stuck in to the crafts when a seat is available. Please note, while we are restricting numbers for our craft activities they will not run with 2m social distancing.
We will open doors to ensure ventilation in our buildings wherever possible.
Government guidance recommends mask wearing in indoor spaces. We ask that adults continue to wear a mask in our Discovery Centre and Turret House, unless you are exempt, to help us protect our community.
We ask that if the Turret House is busy you wait until another groups leaves before entering.
Rigorous cleaning will take place throughout each day.
Screens and hand sanitiser will be in use. A one way system will continue to operate in the Discovery Centre.
If you have any concerns or questions about our Covid safety measures then please get in touch.
