Geddon (short for armageddon!), was Mary Queen of Scots beloved dog friend…to the very end. Follow Geddon as he takes you on a tour of the lodge and explore more about Marys 14 years in Sheffield.
What you'll be making: Mary Queen of Scots and a Tudor House
Trail theme: Geddon the dog trail
What else can I do: The Turret House will be open to explore and why not bring along your bucket and spade to play in our sandpit. The meadows will be appearing in our gardens and don't forget the play area just outside the Discovery Centre entrance.
What can I eat: The Rhubarb Shed is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am to 3pm. You can book a table by giving them a call on 0737 536 6429. We'll have hot and cold drinks and snacks in our Discovery Centre everyday. We welcome picnics in our Tudor grounds.

Although measures for mask wearing and social distancing have ended in the UK we still want visitors to feel safe and comfortable on their visit.
We are continuing to restrict children's activity to 20 children per times slot to limit numbers in our Discovery Centre. We welcome people to wear masks if you are more comfortable to do so.
We continue to ask people not to attend if they are experiencing symptoms of Covid or have received a positive lateral flow or PCR test. If you have booked tickets and can not attend due to Covid then please get in touch and we can transfer to another day.
