Our first Monday Night Lecture series offers a season of inspiring talks by reputable and passionate speakers to stir your interest in often hidden aspects of local and national history.

John B Taylor will be charting the rise of the remarkable Cavendish dynasty from a sleepy village in Suffolk of the same name and a sheep farm in rural Derbyshire to the very pinnacle of the nobility and beyond.
