From Spring 2019, Sheffield Manor Lodge is offering a stunning new wedding venue which will provide a perfectly unique setting for wedding celebrations. Set against the backdrop of our beautiful wildflowers and historic Tudor and Georgian buildings, you can celebrate your wedding in a venue that has hosted Lords and Ladies alike, but without the royal price tag.
The barn-style banqueting room creates a timeless setting for weddings with its authentic stone work and exposed wooden beams that give it a warm and rustic feel. During the day, the room sees light flooding in from floor-to-ceiling glass windows and by slender skylights which filter the sunlight and give a soft, dappled effect. After the sun sets, the barn is illuminated by the soft, romantic twinkle of fairy lights that dot the ceiling.

The new venue extends from our traditional Georgian farmhouse, which features a distinctive bottle bar that serves the drinks for your celebration. It is also surrounded by a private garden brimming with spectacular wildflowers. This charming and idyllic garden provides the perfect back drop for photographs of your special day.

Wedding ceremonies can be held at our historic Grade II listed Tudor Turret House. Brides’ process down an aisle carved out of our picturesque wildflowers before the ceremony, which takes place in the house’s charming doorway or in one of its intimate rooms.
We are completely open to any other ideas you may have regarding your wedding: whether it’s a particular photographer, DJ, florist…the choice is yours! We are happy to work with your choice of suppliers to ensure your special day is as personal and memorable as possible.
When it comes to food, we fully recommend our experienced caterers Rhubarb Shed. From wedding breakfasts and afternoon tea to BBQs and buffets, they are guaranteed to cook up an exceptional feast that perfectly complements your individual taste. However, if you fancy something more particular, you aren’t tied to our choice of caterers and we are happy to accommodate to your preferences.
We offer several special touches to personalise your wedding reception and ensure it exceeds expectations, such as straw bales, blankets and fire pits for rustic, romantic celebrations. And, for more lively weddings and weddings with children, we offer donkey rides and traditional games.
Our new venue has a seating capacity of up to 100 guests and can accommodate 120 guests into the evening.
