Although the Spring and Summer may seem like a million miles away in the dark depths of December, we thought we'd add a splash of colour by reminding you of our wonderful flower gardens. You don't have to wait too long until you can see them first hand, as our flower meadows start to appear in April and are in bloom until early Autumn.
To see them at their very best, the Summer months of June, July and August is the prime time to visit. As well as the beautiful colours within the meadows, the area also attracts a lot of wildlife, especially bees. Our wildflower meadows are perfect for pollinator and we have beehives that produce our very own honey. It is given a unique taste by the wildflowers the bees visit. You can buy it from the Rhubarb Shed Cafe when it is in season.
