Sheffield Manor Lodge Craft Inspiration

Staying at home doesn't have to mean that the fun stops! Although our usual half term craft sessions cannot run during this time, there are plenty of opportunities for families and children to enjoy getting creative at home. On this page, we have put together some activity inspiration and craft instructions that you can download and follow from home. What will you discover?

Exploring Habitats

This year, the 22nd of May marks the celebration of 'World Biodiversity Day'. Here at Sheffield Manor Lodge, We love to encourage minibeasts by providing fantastic habitats for them to live in on our site. We also enjoy taking part in ecology surveys as they help us learn about them such as the Big Butterfly Count.

We want you to get out in your garden and do some minibeast exploring of your own. We have put together two wildlife worksheets to identify as many bugs as you can. Why not make a pair of binoculars to help you on your adventure.

Now explorer hats on, binoculars at the ready, let's see what we can find!"

Rainbow Crafts

You may have seen on the news, the growing trend in 'window rainbow art'. These are to show support for our key workers and build a sense of community with other local children. Why not download some of our activities and brighten up your street?
